HOW TO KNIT THE HERRINGBONE TEXTURE STITCH {FOR THE LOOM}

MATERIALS USED IN THIS VIDEO:

Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 spacer in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using Manos Maxima 100% Merino Wool in the color “Buccaneer”

  • Cast On: Multiples of 12 + 13
  • Row 1: K4, *K2Tog, YO, K1, Yo, SSK, K7; Repeat from * to last 9 stitches, K2Tog, YO, K1, YO, SSK, K4
  • Row 2: Knit
  • Row 3: K3, K2Tog, YO, K3, YO, SSK, K5; Repeat from * to last 10 stitches, K2Tog, YO, K3, YO, SSK, K3
  • Row 4: Knit
  • Row 5: K2, K2Tog, YO, K5, YO, SSK, K3; Repeat from * to last 11 stitches, K2Tog, YO, K5, YO, SSK, K2
  • Row 6: Knit
  • Row 7: K1, K2Tog, YO, K7, YO, SSK, K1; Repeat from * to end.
  • Row 8: Knit
  • Row 9: K2Tog, YO, K9, * YO, Sl 1, K2Tog, PSSO, K9; Repeat from * to last 2 stitches, YO, SSK
  • Row 10: Knit

Repeat Rows 1-10 until you’ve reached your desired length.

    i started watching videos and I think you are telling us to use no spacer between but the written part says 1 spacer? I noticed this on several others also. My kiss loom is on the way and have the Martha stewart and allinone. Are they comparable to use? Thank you again for posting these stitches and for your videos – they are quite the help to me.
