Today is Day 6 of our 31 days of knitting series. Today’s stitches is called the Cascading Leaves stitch and it’s a beautiful panel of lacy leaves that doesn’t require and cabling.

MATERIALS USED IN THIS VIDEO:
Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 spacer in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.
Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!
Ball of Yarn: We are using Tosh Chunky 100% Merino Wool by Madeline Tosh in the color “Fragrant”
WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS & CHART:
- Cast On: Worked over a panel of 16 stitches on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.
- Row 1: P1, K3, K2Tog, K1, YO, P2, YO, K1, SSK, K3, P1
- Row 2: P1, K6, P2, K6, P1
- Row 3: P1, K2, K2Tog, K1, YO, K1, P2, K1, YO, K1, SSK, K2, P1
- Row 4: Repeat Row 2
- Row 5: P1, K1, K2Tog, K1, YO, K2, P2, K2, YO, K1, SSK, K1, P1
- Row 6: Repeat Row 2
- Row 7: P1, K2Tog, K1, YO, K3, P2, K3, YO, K1, SSK, P1
- Row 8: Repeat Row 2
Repeat Rows 1-8 until you’ve reached your desired length.
