It’s day 22 of our 31 days of knitting series and todays stitch is the opposite or reverse of the Herringbone Texture stitch we did earlier in this series. It’s called the Chevron Rib Stitch.

MATERIALS USED IN THIS VIDEO:

Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 spacer in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using Tosh Chunky 100% Merino Wool by Madeline Tosh in the color “Night Bloom”

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS & CHART:

  • Cast On: In Multiples of 18 + 1
  • Row 1: P1, *K1, P2, K2, P2, K1, P1; Repeat from * to end of row.
  • Row 2: *P3, K2, P2, K2, P1, [K2, P2] twice; Repeat from * to end last stitch, P1
  • Row 3: *[P2, K2] twice, P3, K2, P2, K2, P1; Repeat from * to last stitch, P1
  • Row 4: *P1, K2, P2, K2, P5, K2, P2, K2; Repeat from * to last stitch, P1

Repeat Rows 1-4 until you’ve reached your desired length.
