Today is day 2 of our August 31 Days of Knitting Series and the stitch we are demonstrating is the Ascending Arrow Panel. This is another fun panel stitch that is done on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.

HOW TO KNIT THE ASCENDING ARROW PANEL {FOR THE LOOM}

MATERIALS USED IN THE VIDEO

Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 spacer in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using Manos Maxima 100% Merino Wool in the color “Natural”

  • Cast On: Worked over a panel of 13 stitches on a background of reverse stockinette stitch
  • Row 1: P2, YO, SSK, K5, K2Tog, YO, P2
  • Row 2: P2, K9, P2
  • Row 3: P2, K1, YO, SSK, K3, K2Tog, YO, K1, P2
  • Row 4: Repeat Row 2
  • Row 5: P2, K2, YO, SSK, K1, K2Tog, YO, K2, P2
  • Row 6: Repeat Row 2
  • Row 7: P2, K3, YO, Sl 1, K2Tog, PSSO, YO, K3, P2
  • Row 8: Repeat Row 2

Repeat Rows 1-8 until you’ve reached your desired length.
