It’s Day 9. We are almost 1/3 of the way through our series! Todays stitch is the Floating Snake Pattern, and this stitch is special because it’s the first cable stitch we’ve demonstrated on the KB Loom.

HOW TO KNIT THE FLOATING SNAKE PATTERN {FOR THE LOOM}

MATERIALS USED IN THIS VIDEO:

Knitting Loom: All In One Loom by Knitting Board 

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the KB Loom, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using Tosh Chunky 100% Merino Wool by Madeline Tosh in the color “Sugar Plum”

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS & CHART:

  • Cast On: Cast on in multiples of 10 + 5
  • Row 1: *P2, K1, P2, K1tbl, C3B, K1tbl; Repeat from * to last 5 stitches, P2, K1, P2
  • Row 2: *P2, K1, P2, Sl 1, K3, Sl 1; Repeat from * to last 5 stitches, P2, K1, P2
  • Row 3: *P2, K1, P2, K1tbl, C3F, K1tbl; Repeat from * to last 5 stitches, P2, K1, P2
  • Row 4: Repeat Row 2

Repeat Rows 1-4 until you’ve reached your desired length.
