Day 22: How to Knit the Fish Scale Lace Panel Stitch {31 Days of Knitting Series}

Today is Day 22 of our 31 Days of Knitting Challenge. Todays stitch is called the Fish Scale Lace Panel Stitch. I don’t know what it is about this stitch, but it somehow does look like a fish scale.

 How to Knit the Fish Scale Lace Panel for the loom | Vintage Storehouse & Co.

Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 r in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using Tosh Chunky by Madeline Tosh in the color “Dahlia”

    I love your loom knitting tutorials! I’ve wanted to learn new stitches, but every one I’ve tried to convert hasn’t worked out. I’ve never wanted to get a KISS loom. I thought they looked weird, and didn’t understand how they worked. But now I can’t wait to get a KISS loom. As I write this it’s about 8:00a.m. Central time on Monday, 03/23/15. I stated the time & date because after you read my questions, I thought you might want to know when this was written. So, here are my questions. Why is “Day 20” missing from the list of stitches? Why does it take so, long for the tutorials to upload? As I write this, the tutorials for “Day 19” – “Day 22” are not uploaded yet. I guess I need to learn to be more patient. I’ve just enjoyed your tutorials so, much, I can’t wait to see the next one. Do you have any loom knit patterns on Ravelry? Thank you for taking the time to convert these stitches to the loom, and for making the tutorials. I do better if someone shows me how to do something, than I do by just reading a pattern.

    Thanks, for taking the time to read my comment

      Hi Raelyn, Thanks for watching! I’ve had a bunch of computer issues over the last week which has made timing the posts very difficult for me – it’s also made getting the youtube videos uploaded a complete nightmare. Some of the videos are taking more than a day alone. I did finally get it fixed this week, and I should be able to get caught up over the next day or two. Sorry for confusion!
