Day 1: How to Knit the Garter Slip Stitch {31 Days of Knitting Series}

Hi ya’ll, I’m super excited to get started on our 31 Days of Knitting March challenge. Each day for the month of march we are going to do a video tutorial for a different stitch on the Knitting Loom. This will be a fun way to increase your library of stitches and help you develop some more skills on the loom. The first stitch we are going to do is the Garter Slip Stitch. This is a fun version of the Garter Stitch that looks good with pretty much any yarn.

MATERIALS USED IN THE VIDEO:

Knitting Loom: Regular Gauge Kiss Loom {with 1 r in between the pins & the pegs} – We are working with just one side of the regular gauge modular loom.

Knitting Tools: We are using the knitting tool that comes with the kiss looms, but the tool that comes with your loom usually works best!

Ball of Yarn: We are using the Manos Del Uruguay Maxima Worsted Weight 100% Merino Wool in the color “Currant”

    Thanks for posting this in pattern and video form! I’m relatively new to loom knitting and wanted to do something different for a change. I am trying this out on a 41 peg plastic loom. I’m unsure of the brand name, but so far, it’s working nicely. Thanks again!
