Happy Halloween! I know I’m a day early on the party, but I know I’ll be super busy tomorrow and won’t have time to get the party going tomorrow! I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween Holiday tomorrow. I’m super excited to spend the night with my husband watching scary movies! – But I am slightly worried I might never sleep again!
Last week I was out scouring my favorite antique and thrift stores looking for some beautiful pieces of furniture that I felt like would be good candidates for restoration. When looking for furniture, I generally look for pieces that are beyond just a basic “sand it down and stain it” repair. So most of the time, I end up with pieces that have missing veneer. missing pieces or overall are just not restorable without a furniture manufacturing plant. This dresser set was one of those pieces, and I’m so glad I came across it! …Continue Reading
Are you getting excited for Halloween yet? I am, and it’s so fun to see all the awesome Halloween Projects everyone is doing this time of year. I even shared this creepy Gothic Inspired Halloween Wreath earlier this week!

I’m so excited that Halloween is only a few more days away! Have you gotten your costumes ready yet? I know I’m a little behind in getting ready for Halloween, but I wanted to share with you this Gothic Inspired Halloween Wreath I made anyways. Better late than never, right? …Continue Reading
Hello all you wonderful DIY’ers! I am so excited for this weeks collection of link ups! We had a lot of furniture projects linked up this week, which is really fun especially because I’m starting on a few new furniture projects this week. I took a summer off to focus on a few others things and now I’m back to doing what I really love!
I’m so excited to share with you all this wonderful recipe for Pear Crisp! I love Pears, and my mother in law was nice enough to pass along a bunch of fresh pears from her pear tree and give me her recipe for Pear Crisp. I slightly modified that recipe to my own tastes and to allow for them to be in these cute little mini cast iron skillets that I got. So cute!
Hi there, so now that I’m finally getting used to the idea that Halloween is right around the corner, I wanted to do a fun little Halloween craft for you all. And what better than to do a “Creepy” Haunted House Trio.
Hooray, it’s link party day! Oh my gosh, can you believe that it is freaking OCTOBER! (This is completely random, but my dad uses the word “ferken” instead. It always makes me laugh! – so just imagine that previous sentence with the word “ferken” instead and maybe you’ll understand why I’m giggling over here.) Where the heck did September go? Is it under here? Oh my, I’m really not insane I promise! I think… maybe… wait what? Am I the only one that feels like time is constantly getting away from me?
